Real Madrid has completed the signing of Spanish prodigy on a long term deal
Real Madrid have reportedly sealed the signing of Marcos Garcia Montolio, a 15-year-old Spanish prodigy who will arrive in the summer from Elche.
Real Madrid have completed the signing of Marcos Garcia Montolio, according to Spanish daily Defensa Central, with the 15-year-old scheduled to join La Fabrica at the conclusion of the season.
Montolio is an Elche CF academy graduate. The young defender, who joined the Franjiverdes from Celtic de Elche in 2007, has progressed well through the youth ranks. The adolescent prospect, who plays for Elche’s Cadete B club, has impressed a lot and has even gotten some game experience with the Cadete A team.
Montolio has also played for the Spanish national team at the Under-15 level, most recently in friendly matches against Russia. Because of his potential and promise, the young defender has attracted interest from all over the country. He will now join Real Madrid’s academy, which continues to attract the top prospects from both inside and beyond the country.
Real Madrid has been putting a lot of effort into bolstering their roster at La Fabrica and in Castilla, as president Florentino Perez intends to develop superstars from within the club. The Merengues have brought in a number of interesting possibilities in the last year, and they are still looking for more bright young footballers.
Endrick, a Brazilian prodigy who plays for Palmeiras, is one such potential on Real Madrid’s radar, as is Enrique Herrero, who was recently signed from Eintracht Frankfurt.
They have apparently added Marcos Garcia Montolio, a young star with a lot of potential. Elche made an offer for the 15-year-old defender to stay at the club, according to the report. The adolescent sensation, on the other hand, has his heart set on joining Real Madrid and has now completed the necessary paperwork to join the Spanish capital club.
Montolio will join Real Madrid at the start of the next season, hoping to work his way up through the ranks at La Fabrica, eventually breaking into the Castilla side and eventually the first squad.
